This Mjolnir pendant bears the head of a bird of prey that grasps the chain or rope that holds the hammer in it's beak.
The Norse used a type of poetic naming known as a Kenning in their literature, and Blood Eagle is a Kenning used for a bird that descends on a battle field to feast on the battle slain.
The bird here depicted could be a Raven, Falcon, Eagle, or any bird really.
That decision is up to you. The original find dates from the Tenth Century and currently resides in a private collection.
